Mary Jo Grote earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Audiology. She received her PhD in Communication Disorders & Sciences from Wichita State University, focusing on pediatrics, psychoacoustics and amplification.
She has provided hearing care services at a residential school for children with multiple communication disorders in Kansas, at Otolaryngology offices, and has now provided services for numerous physicians and specialists in her private practice since 1996.
Before that, Mary Jo was a corporate Audiologist and trainer for three major hearing aid manufacturers, nationally introducing the first digital hearing aids in 1996.
Anne-Terese Horning earned her Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree in Communication Disorders from Central Michigan University and her Master of Arts in Audiology from Western Michigan University. Ms. Horning worked as a pediatric audiologist at Children's Hospital Boston for 10 years and at Children's Hospital Boston at Lexington from 2005-2007. She joined this practice in 2009 and continues to specialize in pediatric diagnostic audiology. She is certified by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Katie Calvin is Hearing Health Care Center's Office Manager. She manages the daily operations of our practice. Katie joined Hearing Health Care Center in 1998. She also manages the scheduling of patients as well as all medical records, billing and health insurance, as well as the practice's book keeping. Katie specializes in patient relations as well as working daily with our vendors and referral sources.
Mark is our on-site hearing aid repair technician with over 11 years experience maintaining and repairing hearing aids. Mark is often able to make repairs without having to return hearing aids to the manufacturer's factory, which saves our patients both time and money. If it can be fixed in-house, Mark can fix it. He also assists in pediatric hearing evaluations and is our go to man for all follow up maintenance appointments.
